David Dunham, CEO
A veteran business executive with over 40 years’ experience in book publishing. He formed The Dunham Group in 2007, a publishing and consulting agency, working with artists, actors, authors, and entrepreneurs. From 2002–2007, Dunham served as Senior Vice President and Group Publisher for Thomas Nelson Publishers, responsible for four imprints and over 500 titles. In 2009, he formed Dunham Books, a boutique book publisher with his business partner (and son), Joel. Together, they have published over 60 titles in numerous genres. Throughout his career, David has published over 100 bestsellers, including 27 on the New York Times list. As chief executive officer, he focuses primarily on corporate management, but is also very involved in sales, marketing, and operations.
Joel Dunham, CMO
Joel has worked in book publishing in numerous capacities over the past 10 years, including production, client representation, sales and marketing, and operations. He previously worked at Thomas Nelson Publishers as director of new business development specializing in branding, consulting, and creating unique partnerships for Thomas Nelson’s live-event programs. Prior to his time at Nelson, Joel worked with Daniel Langston in a sports entertainment and marketing company that represented clients such as the St. Louis Cardinals, Nashville Predators, The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trails, Pepsi, Disney, and Carnival Cruise lines. Joel serves as Chief Marketing Officer for GRABBR and also assists in sales and tech operations.
Daniel Langston, COO
In 2007, he formed a sports entertainment and marketing firm in Memphis, Tennessee. In five years he opened an additional 11 locations in seven cities around the US, among others, to create market-expansion strategies and turnaround-sales programs, forecasting and market analytics, and to build partnerships with charities. He has also worked with firms such as Coca Cola, NASA, Sam’s Club, Bison, Memorial Herman, and CBRE property management firm. In 2012, he sold the firm and began working as a consultant in an online marketing and web-design company, RevLocal, as well as with The Dunham Group. He joined one of the top real estate teams in Sugar Land, Texas to produce over $30 million in sales while consulting with these companies on the side. As co-founder, Daniel serves as Chief Operating Officer for GRABBR. He oversees all sales activity and also assists in various marketing initiatives, tech operations, and investor relations.
Eric Ramos, CTO
Eric has two decades of experience in visual communications, Internet development, entrepreneurship, and business development. A lifelong creative artist, Eric was hooked on computer technology and computer graphics in the early years of the desktop PC revolution. The 90's dot-com boom provided the perfect blend of visual design and technology tailor made for Eric's skills, interests and career. Leaving the corporate world in 2001, Eric has invested the last 15 years developing his business and entrepreneurial skills while growing his own web development and consulting agency. As CTO of BookGrabbr, the primary task will be to ensure that technology resources and technology staff, both current and future, are properly aligned and suffcient to support the overall strategies, objectives and revenue goals of the company. This includes ongoing research and development of future changes and improvements to Internet based technologies to identify future business growth opportunities and pitfalls as well as shortcomings of current operational capabilities and employee skill sets.
Steven Kadar, Social Media Strategist
Steven graduated with a degree in computer information systems and has worked in Social Media Marketing over the past 8 years. He was the chief social media strategist for SociaLift, a company that managed the social marketing for several multi-million dollar companies. Steven has also consulted and contracted with many independent firms and individuals to grow 33 accounts to over 2 million total followers. Steven serves as Social Media Strategist/Consultant with BookGrabbr and grew BookGrabbr’s social following by over 31,000 followers in just a few months.
Herman DeBoard, Business Development
Herman has spent his career at the apex of creative content creation, business development and technology, at the highest levels, from album creation with former #1 music artists to filing patents on entertainment products that have been sold to public companies. In the early 2000’s DeBoard worked directly with major Entertainment Companies such as Sony, Warner, Universal, EMI and others to create an innovative digital media distribution company. During this time, he also personally negotiated major retail contracts with Target, Best Buy, AAFES, and other big box majors. Herman has his BA and MA in Communication Studies, and a PhD in Adult Learning Methodologies. He has used his degrees to build his businesses so that consumers can easily understand and share the ideas for his products and services. He has also given over 450 public presentations, and has raised millions of dollars for companies. He is the co-founder of BoxOffice Pitch, an innovative movie production and distribution company and is also a partner of Code: J Entertainment, a Japanese/American Entertainment Company. DeBoard is also a Decorated Disabled American Veteran from his time during the first Gulf War in Iraq, where he received the National Defense Service Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, and was a member recipient of the Presidential Unit Citation.
Robert Pafundi, Business Development
Robert is the President and CEO of Code: J Entertainment, an International Film Production Company with main offices in both Los Angeles, California and Tokyo, Japan. He is also the principal of Pafundi Law Firm, APC, and the only known Hollywood Entertainment Attorney to be a well-regarded published author and to have owned a boutique historically known Hollywood Talent Agency. Robert coproduced the multi award-winning inspirational documentary film, The 25,000 Mile Love Story. Robert speaks and writes extensively on a huge array of subjects related to the practical, business, and of course the legal side of the entertainment industry. Pafundi was the successful attorney in the precedent setting California case of Berg v. Traylor. This appellate decision was widely reported in Hollywood trade publications because of its enormous impact on how talent representatives worked with Hollywood talent. Robert is also the President and Co-Founder of BoxOffice Pitch Inc., an modern day highly innovative movie production house and distribution company. He still currently represents iconic film and TV personalities including Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk), television personalities/fashion models Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Emmy Award-Winning actress Christel Khalil (Lily Ashby, The Young & The Restless). Pafundi hold his Nidan Degree (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Bujinkan Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, the most historic and traditional of all Japanese Martial Arts.
